Discover Springboard Pilates:
Pilates for Strength
Build strength you can feel, confidence you can trust & movement that supports real life
Springboard Pilates at Shape It Up Studio is for people who want to feel stronger, more capable, and more confident in their bodies without feeling pushed, overwhelmed, or worried about getting it wrong.
It’s especially powerful if you want strength that carries over into everyday life: walking, lifting, travelling, running, skiing, or simply moving without hesitation or fear.
Springboard Pilates helps you do more in class, but most importantly, out in the world.
Why people choose Springboard Pilates
People start Springboard Pilates because they want to:
- build real, usable strength
- feel more stable and supported as they move
- protect joints while still challenging muscles
- improve balance, posture, and confidence
- become mentally calmer and more grounded
- keep doing the activities they love as they get older
The springs give you feedback and support so you move with control. Your strength is challenged safely, at your own pace.
What is Springboard Pilates?
Springboard Pilates uses a wall-mounted board with adjustable springs to add resistance and support to Pilates exercises.
You’ll work standing, seated, and on the mat.
The springs help guide your movement, making exercises feel clear, purposeful, and surprisingly effective.
It’s a full-body workout that focuses on:
- strength
- stability
- mobility
- coordination
And because the resistance is adjustable, it works just as well if you’re new to strength training as it does if you’re already active.
